Now that casting process is currently going strong for Jaume Collet-Serra's highly-anticipated, live-action version of AKIRA, here comes the news for a possible female lead to play Kei. She is none others than Kristen Stewart, who is being offered for the role as a young psychic medium and eventually becomes the love interest for Kaneda (Garrett Hedlund). As of now, there is no word whether the actress has accepted the offer or not.
